I love fudge. The soft caramel is just so delicious. I could eat a whole batch on my own.
There are a lot of different versions, so here is a basic recipe and feel free to try some things out!
of light brown suger
I used raw cane sugar
of powdered sugar
of condensed / concentrated milk
extract or bean
Line a baking tray from 20x20 cm with baking paper.
Put all the sugar, milk and butter in a pan and bring it to a boiling point.
Keep the heat low and stir now and then.
When the sugar is completely melted, check for the temperature.

, it has to reach 115 degrees.
- When you drop a bit in ice water and it holds its shape, it is also alright.
Take it off the fire and start mixing. Keep mixing until the fudge is getting a bit thicker.
Pour everything in the baking sheet and let it cool down. Depending on everything this can take 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Cut in pieces and enjoy!

While cooking, add cinnamon or booze
After pouring it in the tray, add oreo crumbs, chocolate chips or something else!
